24. Europe 1945 - The Graveyard

Within eight months of the Wannsee Conference of January 1942, a total of six killing centers were in operation.  Most deportees sent to them were gassed on arrival.

The Nazi camp system consisted of Gestapo prisons and death camps, and concentration camps with their satellite camps.

By the end of the war in 1945, there were over 25 major concentration and extermination camps in Europe.

Over 6,000,000 Jews had been slaughtered.
